Optus
In the 6 years as Head of Art and Joint CD on Optus digital, I quickly learned to swap traditional narratives for 8-second animations. We worked to build a great team and pushed the animators to make everything we touched more engaging. The resulting uplift in key metrics backed up our approach.
Introducing 3D renders into the equation for Optus was a game changer. There was immediate uplift in engagement and retention from what had been done previously.
The dynamic use of type also became key to cutting through and impressions jumped along with CTRs.
TIKTOK
Coming out of COVID gave us an opportunity to connect in a new way. Hashtag challenges on TikTok were a great way to engage and have some fun, creating considerable growth in awareness.
